President

Isaac P. Light is the founder and President of Headstart Tax. He has a strong desire to provide a top-tier tax service. He's passionate for taxes and takes pride in helping individuals navigate their financial future. 

He received his CPA License from the Alaskan Board of Accountancy. He received his CFP License from the Certified Financial Planning Board . He finished his Masters in Accounting from Idaho State University. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University - Idaho. 

Prior to forming Headstart Tax, Isaac was working as the Tax Manager for Private Tax Solutions under Jon Miller, CPA (One of the top tax resolution CPAs in the United States).

Isaac enjoys spending time with his wife, playing basketball, rock climbing, fly fishing, backpacking, pickleball, and slalom water skiing. He is conversant in Portuguese.

Martin Light, CPA

Business Mentor

Martin is currently working as the control for GMC Contracting in Anchorage Alaska. He has been a CPA for over 25 years spending most of his career working as a tax professional. 

Martin assists Headstart Tax by consulting when necessary. He provides a second opinion on complex tax situations and oversees operations. 

Martin enjoys talking with his wife, helping others, serving in his church, riddles, and shooting his crossbow on his free time.
